What are the advantages of working with the Alban Federation?
Rated by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’ (2012), Alban Federation has a depth of experience in teacher training, and has established partnerships with a wide spectrum of excellent schools in the region.
All the secondary schools in St Albans and Harpenden are members of Alban Federation and we also work with a number of associate partners in Brookmans Park, Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead, Hertford and Welwyn Garden City. Schools have developed expertise in delivering training and providing the highest level of support to trainees. In the past two years, all trainees have secured employment as NQTs.
Sandringham School in St Albans is the lead school for the partnership and is where the head office for the Alban Federation is located.
